Job summary

Vytalogy Wellness, LLC is seeking a production operator to support basic operation of packaging lines and assist in tear down and setup. The role emphasizes cGMP compliance, SOP adherence, and safety throughout the shift.

The job requires data entry in Redzone, a willingness to lean on lean tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A competitive hourly base plus benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up production machines per SOPs and cGMP.
• Document batch records and ensure proper packaging per work instructions.
• Monitor data (OEE) and escalate issues to supervision.
• Cross-train between operation functions and other departments as needed.
• Perform 5S and lean improvement activities in the work area.

Summary

Responsible for all basic operation functions of machines and equipment. Special emphasis to assist in the tear down and set up procedure. Compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOP’s, and Safety Procedures.

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

• Performs aspect(s) of the automated operation process, including but not limited to running of (4) four machines, set up / tear down, sanitizing which can include washing parts and disassemble as trained and instructed by a Lead / Supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMPs

• Responsible to ensure each product is prepared, filled, assembled, packed, and documented according to work instructions/SOP's, batch records and cGMP guidelines and/or procedures.

• Understands OEE data collection from machines and department, and able to react accordingly including elevating issue to appropriate personnel, a Lead or Supervisor

• Flexibility in cross training between operation functions and other departments when needed.

• Knowledgeable and competent to perform break down/set up of smaller components on heavy machinery, as instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMP procedures

• Ability to identify and raise awareness on problems and possibly provide solutions for consideration

• Supports team in breaking down/setting up heavy machinery, operating various equipment, sanitization (major/minor clean)

• Performs manual aspects of the operation process, including but not limited to making boxes, loading machines, hand packing product, visual and physical checks of in process and finished materials as trained and instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMP procedures

• Learns and performs one or more aspect(s) of the automated operation process, including but not limited to running of machines, as trained and instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMP procedures

• Properly wear Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per cGMP guidelines

• Accurately enter data records in Redzone and interpret written information within the batch record

• Actively utilize lean tools for process improvement

• Actively utilize lean tools for process improvement

• Perform 5S activities and maintain organization of operating areas

You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications)

• Minimum of year (4) year of experience in Manufacturing/packaging or related field.

• Possesses a genuine desire to work in Manufacturing truly likes working within all aspects of the manufacturing process.

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., climb step-up ladders, and perform constant motions of scooping, wiping, raising of arms, bending, and kneeling, if needed

• Ability to be exposed to nutraceutical raw materials and powders which may include allergen related items

• Ability to comprehend basic computer knowledge

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• High School education (HS Diploma or GED) preferred

• Experience in food/pharmaceutical processing operations, FDA regulated industry, or combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to perform the job successfully (preferred)

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range for this position is $21.28 to $23.52. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
