Job SummaryApply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Machine is hydraulic brake press. Programs for parts are input directly to the machine by the operator based on the blueprint.Setup & Operation: Preparing the machine by loading tools: punches and dies specific to the job requirements. Create the programs for the bends using bend deductions, drawing information for various angles and offsets.Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed. Basic blueprint reading, first-off inspections and in-process inspections. Main tools needed are tape measure and calipers.Maintenance: Performing routine basic maintenance check on the machine to keep it in good working order, including cleaning and lubricating parts, reporting issues immediately to the supervisor.Technical Skills: Understanding of machining processes, blueprints, and technical drawings.Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and ensure high-quality production standards.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
