Join to apply for the Machine Operator II role at Global Payments Inc.

Hours of this position will be Wednesday - Saturday from 4:45pm till 2:45am. Overtime is required as business needs dictate.

Summary Of This Role

Sets up and operates a variety of automated machines (e.g., folders, Muller, die cutter, cutter) used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of machinery, including feeding, folding, cutting, stitching of materials, adjusting settings, making minor repairs, and inspecting and packaging finished products.

What Part Will You Play?

• Reviews job schedule list for assigned jobs, locates the correct job materials/tickets on the finishing floor, and reviews job specification sheets to complete finishing work.
• Completes setup of assigned Finishing machines (e.g., folder, Muller, die cutter, guillotine cutter, saddle stitcher) by loading materials and selecting configurations.
• Proficiently operates 1 or more Finishing machines to complete assigned jobs.
• Evaluates production samples to ensure adherence to client specifications and quality checklists, performing adjustments if necessary.
• Packages finished products and reviews packaging to ensure compliance with instructions prior to shipment.
• Documents job information such as material usage, scrap, and production time, and enters data into the Monarch database for cost tracking and billing.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Typically minimum 2 years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 4 years of fast production machine experience.

Desired Skills and Capabilities

• Substantial understanding of the job and ability to apply knowledge to a range of tasks.
• Works on routine to moderately difficult assignments, requiring some decision-making.
• Receives little instruction on daily work, with general instructions on new assignments.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00. Salary will consider location, experience, and other factors.
