What you’ll do:
  • Inspect and perform general upkeep of the assigned lift truck.
  • Complete daily inspection reports for lift truck maintenance and safety.
  • Change batteries and clean lift trucks as needed.
  • Pull correct scrap foam material according to the product being produced.
  • Place the proper material on the conveyor as per production schedule and process flow.
  • Maintain adequate materials at the workstation to ensure smooth process flow.
  • Operate granulator equipment and monitor the process to prevent contamination.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Serve as a member of the Plant Emergency Response Team.
  • Perform other duties as required.
What you have:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prior experience operating a lift truck preferred.
  • One year of related experience in a production environment.
  • Ability to maintain acceptable attendance.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, climb, and twist without restrictions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • High level of mental and visual attention for safety.
