Responsible for day-to-day card and / or reader programing, light maintenance of machinery and equipment, and any other procedures deemed necessary to ensure operational KPIs are achieved.

As our Machine Operator II, you’ll support HID’s success by:

• Complying with SOP’s and work instructions related to job function.
• Being held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively.
• Participating in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
• Setting up and operating a variety of automatic and semi-automatic machines.
• Conducting manual production operations as required.
• Performing daily 5s and PM of equipment and surrounding areas as required.
• Verifying BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork and markings.
• Contributing to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance.
• Proactively logging and escalating potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies.
• Participating in root cause, corrective / preventive action activities as required.
  
  

Your Experience and Background include:

• Must have a minimum of one year manufacturing experience
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent
• Must possesses the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail
• Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift.
• Requires the ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment
• Accepts and embraces constant change as a necessary factor to success
