Matthew Warren, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator I - Trimmer-Driller for the 2nd shift in Cedar Grove, NJ. This on-site role focuses on producing precise parts through trimming and drilling in a busy machine shop.
You will read blueprints, operate manual and HAAS equipment, document production data, and uphold safety and quality standards in a team environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The Machine Operator I is responsible for performing the essential manufacturing steps of part trimming and drilling, meeting daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts.
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
$18.00 - $21.00/Hour based on experience and ability to perform work independently. 2nd shift will receive a 10% shift premium.
2nd shift will train on 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) 30-60 days before moving to 2nd shift.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and hear. The employee must frequently lift/move and/or push/pull up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift/move and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Use of vision correction is acceptable, if necessary; however, any vision correction apparatus must meet all safety guidelines for the area of activity.
