Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with computer usage within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail in daily work as well as extensive documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and motivation for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the production and packaging of finished goods.
• Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to maximize performance.

Day Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm on a 2-2-3 rotation)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Machine Operator position is responsible for ensuring the continuing safe and efficient production process for the Morristown facility, including the set-up, validation and operation of automatic packaging equipment that produces wet wipes.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support the production and packaging of finished goods.
• Operate, trouble‑shoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to get maximum performance and efficiency.
• Ensure the safe and efficient production of a quality product in an FDA‑regulated facility. Follow cGMP procedures.
• Utilize JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and DSI scan guns to safely produce quality products to customer specifications.
• Daily responsibility for performing quality checks, sampling and accurately completing required documentation.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand during12 hours shifts with regular breaks.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 37 pounds.
• Repetitive arm/hand movement.
• Frequent bending, twisting and reaching.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• 100% of work will be performed indoors.
• Although the facility is climate‑controlled, the temperature will fluctuate slightly with changes in the seasons.
• Hearing protection may be required in designated areas of the facility.
