Primary Objective

• Safely monitors and produces a quality product to documented standards in the quantities specified by the production schedule.
  
  

Major Function And Scope

• Complies with all company safety rules and procedures.
• Monitors product and process to ensure quality of product to documented procedures.
• Makes required adjustments to maintain quality of product.
• Records and reports production numbers including disruptions and rejects.
• Loads, unloads, and moves material using forklift.
• Coordinates and executes to published schedule.
• Changes and adjusts tooling as required.
• Maintains quality and the quantity of the output of the production line during course of shift.
• Performs required preventive maintenance.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
  
  

Knowledge, Experience, And Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Achieves minimum acceptable levels on Work Keys assessment tests for Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information and Reading for Information.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience in a fast paced work environment.
• 1+ years of experience with automated machines.
• 1+ years of experience adjusting machine to produce quality product.
• Forklift experience or willingness to learn to operate forklift.

Physical Requirements / Other Pertinent Job Information

• This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be regular exposure to chemicals, noise from machinery, dust, fumes and variable temperatures.
• Other working conditions may include working long hours and flexible shifts, including holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs are required.
