Job summary

UFP Industries in Dallas is seeking a Machine Operator I to set up and operate a production machine following established procedures and guidelines. You will secure and maintain material and supplies required for the operation.

Responsibilities include completing area setup, operating the machine safely, stacking products, keeping the work area clean, recording production data, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Basic math knowledge is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work area setup.
• Operate and feed the machine in a safe and efficient manner according to procedures.
• Stack finished products per procedures and label and band components when required.
• Keep the work area safe, clean and organized; ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Complete pre-shift startup inspection checklist and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and production records as needed.
• Check materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and participate in CI and other programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
