Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Machine Operator I to set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. You will secure and maintain materials and supplies required for the operation.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient machine handling, neat work areas, and accurate production records, with minimum 6 months manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete work area set up.
• Operate and feed machine safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Maintain production records as required.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
