Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Prior mechanical background preferred.
• Prior fabrication experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reads job orders and blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ensures equipment setup is correct and safety devices are used.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Measures workpieces with calipers, tape, or protractor for accuracy.
• Identifies issues and reports to supervisors.
