Job summary

Towmaster, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Litchfield, MN, is seeking a Machine Operator I to cut/manufacture parts per drawings and specifications while operating overhead hoists or cranes and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders and specs, ensuring safe equipment setup, monitoring operations for defects, measuring parts for accuracy, and escalating issues to supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Prior mechanical background preferred.

• Ensures all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
• Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.

• Identify issues and bring them to supervisors’ attention.

A Machine Operator I is responsible for cutting / manufacturing various types of parts while adhering to company and customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction on the equipment they are hired for. operating overhead hoists or cranes, using hand tools appropriate for the job, and reading and interpreting blueprints.
