Qualifications

• Experience in forklift driving
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic problems
• Ability to stand/walk, bend, squat, crawl, reach, balance
• Frequently ascend/descend forklifts
• Exposure to warehouse environment that is not climate controlled

Responsibilities

• Follow and commit to meet KPI's for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
• Assist with setting-up, starting, adjusting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and properly shutting down process equipment as well as removal of any waste from the plant floor.
• Building and grounds housekeeping.
• Perform general preventative maintenance on equipment (i.e. fill lube lines, lube chain rails, grease guns, etc.) as required.
• Maintain logs and reports as required for parts inventory and machine PM compliance.
• Promptly notify the Maintenance Department of any maintenance required.
• May be required to work additional hours including weekends, and/or overtime.
• Other duties as assigned
