Pay or shift range: $21 USD to $27 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Job Summary

The Machine Operator sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The operator uses computer‑controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi‑automatic machines, and controls and adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Operate various machines within the cell.
• Maintain a clean machine and organized work area.
• Perform basic daily and preventative maintenance and checks on machines.
• Meet daily production schedules by following procedures.
• Adapt to cell and team concepts as well as cross‑training.
• Ensure all safety guards are in place and in good condition.
• Inspect work in progress using equipment necessary and outlined in work instructions.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for quality of work.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) highly desired.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal.
• Computer skills (MS Office) and experience in ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, set up data sheets, and measurement instructions.
• Capable of using hand tools and general inspection tools effectively.
• Detail oriented with good time management and organization skills.
• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
• Capable of using measuring instruments such as micrometer, calipers, height gauge, etc.
• Good attitude, eager to learn and be a team player.
• Must be able to stand, stoop and lift to 40–50 lbs.
