Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Topeka, KS is hiring a Machine Operator 1 to set up, maintain, and operate basic food processing machines in a refrigerated plant.

You will load materials, adjust settings, monitor quality, and ensure HACCP and GMP guidelines are followed. Overtime and weekend scheduling may be required. Experience operating machinery and food industry work are preferred; English fluency is required and bilingual with Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery preferred.
• Food industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machines to produce intermediate food products.
• Set up machines for production runs and adjust settings.
• Monitor machine operation for quality and safety.
• Inspect parts and adjust as needed to maintain specs.
• Clean and sanitize machines per guidelines.
• Ensure dates, weights, temperatures meet specs.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Display a positive attitude toward people, equipment and policy.
• Follow safety guidelines and HACCP/GMP practices.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
