Job summary

• Responsible for the quality and quantity of work, through inspection and meeting schedule requirements.
• Recognize abnormal conditions and stop work, then seek help, including troubleshooting.
• Train and learn Moog operating systems and ethics compliance.

Job Title: Machine Operator I

Reporting To: Manager, Machining Operations

Work Schedule: Onsite - Orrville, OH

Our Team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Machine Operator to Join them.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

As a Machine Operator, you will:

• Operate basic machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, band saws, overhead cranes, and tow motors.
• Acquire some basic knowledge of inspection equipment and Moog processes/procedures.
• Expected to train and learn the basics of shop math and machine operation.
• Responsible for the quality and quantity of work, through inspection and meeting schedule requirements.
• Recognize an abnormal condition and be able to stop the work and get help promptly, including troubleshooting and correction of problems.
• Expected to train and learn basic Moog operating systems.
• Follow ethics compliance program.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary Range Transparency: Orrville, OH $18.00-$22.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
