AZEK Company is seeking a reliable Machine Operator in Mays Landing, NJ to set up, operate, and monitor production equipment according to specifications. You will contribute to efficient manufacturing and maintain equipment, documentation, and safety standards.
The role emphasizes quality, teamwork and ability to perform routine maintenance. Prior experience is preferred but not required, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
· Operate Machinery: Set up, operate, and monitor machines to produce products according to specifications.
· Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
· Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor troubleshooting.
· Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
· Documentation: Accurately record production data, including materials used, products produced, and any issues encountered.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve any production challenges.
Qualifications
· Experience: Prior experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
· Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machine operations and troubleshooting.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
· Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in production.
· Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
· Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
