Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a 2nd shift production worker in Wisconsin. Pay starts at $25.11 per hour with a $1.10 shift differential. 2nd shift runs 6pm-6am with 2 on/2 off and 3 half-days per month including 2 weekends. Time and a half on non-scheduled days requested/volunteered.

Essential duties include operating motorized equipment, reading sizing instructions, setting up equipment, and basic maintenance. Safety PPE and supervisor guidance are required.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Highschool diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn.

• Operate motorized equipment (e.g. forklift, KVAL lifts) as needed.
• Read and follow sizing instructions and quality check with tape measure.
• Set up and adjust equipment to sizing specifications, understand drawings, change heads and other tools.
• Miscellaneous duties include basic repairs, routing, tracking, preventative maintenance and station keeping.
• Supports other team members through collaboration and communication.
• Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Highschool diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting. (up to 25% in an 8-hour day).
• Work with products up to 60lbs throughout the day. (up to 25% in an 8-hour day.)
• Push/Pull up to 100lbs with assistance (up to 13% in an 8-hour day.)
• Be comfortable standing in place for extended times.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
