Responsibilities include:

1. Safely operate equipment and perform tasks at assigned work stations in accordance with company procedures and practices.
2. Accurately set up assigned work station equipment daily and complete operations efficiently to produce quality compliant parts according to production schedule.
3. Report any issues affecting production to supervisor and troubleshoot/resolve workstation equipment production issues.
4. Safely load raw materials for production of quality compliant goods.
5. Maintain cleanliness of work area following 6’s standards.
6. Perform quality checks on parts produced to ensure compliance with quality standards.
7. Participate in and drive 6’s, Lean, Quality, and Safety initiatives.
8. Perform daily, monthly, and yearly TPM checks.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Ability to read tape measures accurately.
• Ability to work at different stations as needed.
• Maintain satisfactory performance of machines.
• General knowledge of hand tools and mechanical items.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• May need to lift up to approximately 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and dust.
• Travel throughout the facility as needed.
• Able to withstand hot and cold environments depending on weather conditions.
