Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is seeking a Relief Operator for the Fayette Plant. This role supports production by relieving operators in various departments as needed, ensuring continuous operation and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will operate production equipment per SOPs, participate in changeovers, handling, inspection tasks, and uphold ISO procedures. Expect a dynamic environment with physical requirements and the potential to work across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year manufacturing/production experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Assist with changeovers, color changes, setting, material handling, inspector, and slab handling.
• Conduct tests or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods.
• Perform additional job tasks as documented in the job task check sheet.
• May stop production equipment when a safety, quality, or mechanical problem prevents equipment use or conformance to product requirements.
• Follow ISO operating procedures and maintain quality checks as specified.
• Keep area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
