Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills; good recordkeeping and listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability and basic English; ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• May function as a changeover; assist with color changes, setting, material handling, inspection, and slab handling.
• Conducts tests or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods.
• Performs additional tasks as documented in the job task check sheet.
• May stop production equipment if safety, quality, or mechanical issues prevent operation or compliance with product requirements.
• Follows ISO operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
