Job summary

MCC is seeking Finishing Helpers in Clarksville, TN to support print production on a 6am-6pm days and 6pm-6am nights rotating schedule. The role involves quality checks, material handling, and data entry in Globetek.

Eligible applicants receive a $16.00 hourly wage with a $1.00 night differential, a sign-on bonus up to $1,000, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Experience or knowledge in lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and walk frequently.
• Recording data on paperwork and in the Globetek system.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web per specifications.
• Uses a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Records data on designated paperwork and in the Globetek system.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek)
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous eye concentration.
