Job summary

LettrLabs is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for our Chicago manufacturing site to safely operate automated production lines and achieve daily targets with quality. You will collaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure accurate production data.

We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a readiness to grow with the company. A high school diploma or GED is required; additional technical training preferred, and the role offers

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years operating machinery in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Experience with automated production equipment preferred.
Certifications: OSHA 10/30 or forklift a plus.
Strong reading of SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment per SOPs.
Meet daily production targets with optimal uptime and quality.
Perform changeovers and line clearances to minimize downtime.
Document production data, batch records, and logs in real time.
Identify and report equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance.
Support Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen improvement initiatives.
Maintain 5S and follow safety policies and LOTO procedures.
