Surge Staffing is seeking dependable Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team producing plastic packaging. This entry-level role runs blow molding equipment, monitors production, troubleshoots minor issues, and helps ensure quality in a fast-moving environment.

Shift options include 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:30 AM with competitive starting pay and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Basic math skills and comfort with reading gauges.
• Basic computer skills for production records.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow molding, trimming, grinding, and conveyors safely.
• Monitor machine performance and perform minor troubleshooting.
• Complete changeovers, cleaning, and setup per instructions.
• Inspect finished products for quality and document results.
• Read gauges and machine controls to monitor production.
• Report maintenance concerns and perform routine checks.
• Maintain production records and safety/ GMP compliance.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes when trained.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area organized.
