Machine Operator - Grinder

ATS Scientific Products is expanding our team in Vineland, NJ, and has immediate openings for a Machine Operator - Grinder on 1st Shift. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Perform various operations on wet cut saw and beveling equipment.
2. Use applicable measuring instruments to assure specifications.
3. Advise supervision of any out-of-standard conditions.
4. Notify supervision when repairs or supplies are required.
5. Select appropriate fixtures for cutting.
6. Complete required paperwork accurately.
7. Observe all safety precautions, rules, and regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

1. Mathematical skills.
2. High School Diploma.
3. Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
4. Basic practical knowledge of manufacturing practices and machinery cost estimating (on-the-job training available).
5. Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
6. Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
