Job Description:
Job Summary:

The Saw Operator will set up and inspect equipment, install blades, measure the length to cut to specifications, and operate the machines. Responsibilities include loading raw materials safely, off-loading finished products, and inspecting features using measuring devices, recording results on project paperwork.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Operate a metal cutting saw
  • Clean a metal cutting saw
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • One or more years of experience using a metal cutting saw
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements with a tape measure
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent attendance and a positive attitude
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Painting experience is a plus
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, talk, hear, handle, walk, squat, bend, twist, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Work environment includes temperatures of 55-90°F, with required protective gear.
