Job summary

Jennie-O Turkey Store is seeking a production team member to support machine setup, changeovers, and teardown, while collaborating with coworkers to meet production goals. You will ensure sanitation, GMP compliance, and safety protocols are followed during startup, breaks, and end-of-shift cleanup.

Responsibilities include monitoring quality, productivity, yields, and scheduling issues, and documenting delays and production reports.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Willing to take responsibility and handle challenges.
• Troubleshoot and solve minor mechanical problems.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold environment (32-40°F).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English; communicate with management.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine, line setup/tear down, and changeover functions.
• Work with coworkers to achieve and maintain production goals.
• Ensure startup, break, and lunch sanitation meets GMP requirements.
• Monitor product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling issues.
• Verify production complies with specifications.
• Ensure safety equipment usage and lockout/tagout procedures.
