At Parker’s Industrial Process Filtration Division, we collaborate with our customers to offer filtration solutions for complex contaminant management issues. Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime.
The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition, IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe.
Position Summary
Candidate must independently set up and operate equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment. This is a 1st shift assignment, and the ideal candidate must be able to work overtime upon request, including on the weekends.
The candidate will be a Machine/Setup Operator in a specialty metals and fabricating environment. The Operator will use a Calendering Mill and will conduct product conformance testing per established procedures.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret design drawings, specifications and routing instructions
Prepare and maintain all quality documentation including initial, in-process and final inspection within 3 months of employment. Obtain inspection stamp within 6 months of employment
Maintain equipment by performing minor maintenance and cleaning
Other assignments as requested by the supervisor or area group leader
Actively participate in the safety program and High-Performance Team programs.
Promote and contribute to continuous improvement projects to reduce process wastes
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
