Orchid Orthopedic Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator, Forging Press to operate the forging press on the Lansing site, form parts from billets, and perform inspections per IPIs and QA requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to QMS procedures, with on-shift responsibilities and potential for training and growth within a growing medical device manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing preferred.
• 1+ year of experience operating machining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging press and related machinery per standard work.
• Monitor machine programs and adjust as needed.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance sheets.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and uncluttered work environment per 6S.
