Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Bridgeport, MI, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair CNC machinery and related systems within Tecomet’s standards. The role requires diagnosing equipment issues, supporting new installations, and performing routine upkeep to ensure uptime.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and strong skills in blueprint reading and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; journeyman’s card is desirable.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test CNC machinery and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose equipment problems by discussing operation variations with management or production staff.
• Assist with installation of new CNC equipment and tooling; dismantle and replace parts.
• Lubricate shafts, bearings and gears; maintain pipe systems and hydraulics.
• Monitor maintenance progress and ensure adherence to maintenance plans.
• Perform minor plumbing, building repairs and interior painting as needed.
• Maintain and clean facilities and support general upkeep.
