Job summary

Coherent Corp. in East Granby, CT, is seeking a skilled operator to convert glass preforms into optical fiber on draw towers. You will monitor furnace temperature, draw speed, and tension, perform real-time diameter checks, apply coatings, and conduct quality inspections.

You will work with engineering and quality teams, handle preforms safely, troubleshoot deviations, and maintain production records in a high‑temperature, PPE‑driven environment.
