Coherent Corp. in Hillsborough Township, NJ is seeking a production technician to operate bench-top lapping and polishing equipment for qualification samples and finished goods.
The role involves processing customer requests, compiling samples for analysis, and following strict process documentation to achieve precise thicknesses. The position requires a high school diploma, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to wear PPE.
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
This work includes using proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.
Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently.
Managers will ensure all risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, and required PPE are available and will monitor compliance.
Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
