Job summary

FreshPoint Bix Produce Company, LLC, part of Sysco, is seeking a Machine Operator for day shifts at its FreshPoint facility. You will operate a wide range of packaging machines and oversee the full life cycle of products through the packaging process.

You will match tickets, perform quality checks on items/weights, ensure customer specifications are met, and process orders through the Cyrovac machine, with packing and palletizing responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate machines safely.
• Basic troubleshooting of machinery.
• Ability to keep up with line speed and meet yields and quality standards.
• Physical ability to lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of machines.
• Responsible for the full life cycle of products through the Packaging Process.
• Match tickets with the product, perform a quality check of items/weights, ensure the product meets customer specifications, process orders through the Cyrovac machine, ensure accuracy, pack, and palletize.
