Shift/Working Hours:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate milling center as assigned by team leader.
  • Check all material for visual defects to ensure the material is not scratched, dented, bent, etc.
  • Gauge workpieces to ensure they meet drawing specifications before and after machining, as needed, using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices. Stop production and contact the team leader if quality issues arise.
  • Deburr with hand tools as necessary, before and after machining.
  • Maintain machinery and equipment in good working condition, including oiling and coolant levels.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area for all. Good housekeeping is essential.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order before operating machinery or performing assembly work. Report safety concerns to the supervisor.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to properly utilize measuring devices.
