Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Lafayette, GA. The role focuses on production, manufacturing, and quality within the Extrusion Department. This is a full-time position that starts as temporary with the potential to hire on.

You will work on the night shift, 8:00 pm–8:00 am, with a 2 days on/3 days off rotation and possible weekend work. Responsibilities include operating extrusion machinery, running the assembly station, preparing

Qualifications

• 2 years of verifiable machine operator experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds (In‑office lifting assessment required).
• Work in a high moisture situation.
• Background Check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Extrusion machines.
• Run assembly station with push buttons or guiding handles.
• Prepare material for removal by warehouse person.
• Parts are packed into large cardboard boxes or placed in large wire buggies and removed by a warehouse employee.
• Pack products according to specifications while inspecting for quality.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of any production or quality problems immediately.

Machine Operator Extrusion Department

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operators in the Extrusion Department for a manufacturing company in Lafayette, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for the production, manufacturing, and quality of machinery. Positions are full-time temporary to hire.

Pay Rate

Night shift: $2 1.25 per hour

Shifts and Schedules

Night Shift 8:00 pm-8:00 am

2 days on-3 days off rotation (must be willing to work weekend rotation)

• Assist with Extrusion machines
• Run assembly station with push buttons or guiding handles.
• Prepare material for removal by warehouse person.
• Parts are packed into large cardboard boxes, plastic bags or places in large wire buggies, which are removed by a warehouse employee.
• Pack products according to specifications while inspecting for quality
