Job summary

Envalior is seeking a Machine Operator to ensure production equipment is operated according to processing, quality, safety and housekeeping procedures. You will troubleshoot issues and explore new methods to contribute to our mission.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, reading/writing ability, and basic arithmetic skills. Expect a team-oriented environment with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Operates production equipment following established processing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Plans workflow for efficient equipment operations.
  • Performs on-line process quality testing.
  • Assists Maintenance in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Interacts with other departments to resolve operating issues or improve process quality and efficiency.
  • Follows all Quality Manual Procedures and related testing requirements.
  • Performs other duties as required.

As a Machine Operator at Envalior, you will ensure that production equipment is operated following established processing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures. You will actively trouble-shoot processing problems to ensure production of quality products. Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new methods to contribute to our values and mission.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that production equipment is operated following established processing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures
  • Plan workflow for efficient equipment operations
  • Performs on-line process quality testing
  • Assists Maintenance in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • Functions as an intra- or interdepartmental team member, interfacing with other functional department personnel as required to resolve operating issues or to improve process quality and efficiency
  • Complies with all production related Quality Manual Procedures and System through classroom, on the job training, and by passing all accompanying testing, as required
  • Performs other duties as required.

Our Compensation Package
  • Starting wage $29.26 per hour increasing to $31.96 in the first year, and
  • Shift premium for night shift
  • 1st shift 6:45am - 3:00pm, 2nd shift 2:45pm – 11:00pm, and 3rd shift 10:45pm - 7:00 am
  • Union facility under the United Auto Workers Union: UAW local 3048
