Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator in Mitchell, SD to operate and maintain production machinery, set up and troubleshoot systems, and perform quality checks. The role supports a safe, clean, and efficient work environment with team lifts as needed.

Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years of machine operation or production experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read and write in English. This is a contract, onsite position with potential for raises and schedule stability.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of machine operation or production experience.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read/write in English.
• Experience with finishing/gluing machines or feeder/inspector roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery.
• Set up and troubleshoot machine systems.
• Perform quality checks and inspect products.
• Use hand and power tools during machine setup.
• Support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Lift materials (up to 50 lbs, team lifts as needed).
