Job summary

Tyson Foods in Haltom City, TX, is seeking a Production Operator to run mixing and blending equipment and other assigned machines.

You will interpret daily production schedules, adjust equipment, record data, perform tests, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. Overtime and weekend work are required.

Candidates should have at least 3 months operator experience and be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work in temperatures 40–75°F, and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-Month Operator experience must be listed in job history
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly during shift
• Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends and other duties as assigned by Management

Responsibilities

• Interpret daily production schedule
• Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications
• Determine equipment adjustments and material requirements
• Compile and record production data and reports on volume of production
• Prepare equipment for production and test runs
• Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance
• Operate and observe equipment operation to detect defects or malfunctions, and measure work piece dimensions
