Job summary

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company, is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator for on-site work at 950 E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX. You’ll set up, operate, and maintain single or multi-head embroidery machines to decorate sporting apparel.

Responsibilities include threading, loading designs, monitoring stitching, basic maintenance, and collaboration with designers to meet customer specs. HS diploma or GED required; bilingual a bonus; prior warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with embroidery machines and software.
• Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.
• Capable of troubleshooting machine issues and making adjustments.
• Understanding of design principles to assist in creating patterns.

WORK TYPE: On Site

LOCATION DETAILS: 950 E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday 4:00AM - 12:30 PM (OT as required and during peak operations Jul-Dec).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The BSN Sports Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining either single head or multi-head commercial embroidery machines to create decorative designs on various types of sporting apparel.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Familiarity with embroidery machines and software.
• Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.
• Capable of troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Understanding of design principles to assist in the creation of appealing patterns.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• Previous warehouse experience is a bonus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
• Ability to read English instructions.
• Learn tasks quickly, be detailed oriented, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
• Candidates are required to see and differentiate colors for accuracy in inspecting the product during and after being processed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. This role will work in a climate-controlled environment.
