Job summary

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company, is seeking an Embroidery Operator for the 2nd shift at our McClellan Park facility. You will load designs, hoop textiles, and monitor embroidery quality to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities include operating Tajima machinery, coordinating with the supervisor to hit daily goals, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. HS diploma or GED required; some overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in warehouse/manufacturing is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

• Operate Tajima embroidery machinery; no prior experience required to apply.
• Collaborate with area supervisor and leads to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Execute daily schedule including pre/post production tasks.
• Inspect products for order accuracy and quality.

Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

WORK HOURS Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10:00pm

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements

Mandatory overtime may include some Saturdays and Sundays.

As a member of the Production Team, our Embroidery Operators are responsible for ensuring the embroidery process for all our products in our facility. You’ll handle gathering the designs, loading them into the machine, ensuring proper placement of design, hooping, and thread colors, and producing a quality finished product. The person in this role will be pivotal in setting the pace for our embroidery process and ensuring we deliver product on time to our customers.

What You Will Do

• Operate Tajima Electronic Automatic Embroidery Machinery - no previous experience on the machines needed to apply
• Work with area Supervisor and team leads on achieving daily goals of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Execute the daily schedule, including pre-production and post-production needs
• Inspect all products for accuracy of order specifications
• Trouble shoot any issues with machines as needed
• Always keep a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed and maintain excellent attendance

Education/ Experience

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
• Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.
