Job description

Machine Operators are system experts in their assigned area and are highly functional across multiple areas. They must ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality, and continuous improvement. As members of an area team, they are directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. They operate specified machinery in their assigned area and should have the skills to train or perform tasks of other associates as needed. Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills are essential to support site objectives.

What we are looking for?
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Willing to work 12-hour day shifts (5:30 AM - 6:00 PM) or night shifts (5:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
  • Willing to work 2-2-3 shift schedule
  • Preferably 1 year of manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Perform all assigned activities within a line or area
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Take corrective actions to solve problems at root cause level
  • Assess equipment reliability and perform routine repairs and troubleshooting
  • Work with Maintenance on equipment PMs
  • Maintain accurate records of QC checks, production, and waste
  • Keep detailed log books and support documentation
  • Perform QC tasks such as metal checks and inspection of date codes
  • Follow good housekeeping practices
  • Ensure product quality through standard checks and GMP adherence
  • Operate forklift and basic desktop systems
  • Understand inventory control principles
  • Know the plant's products and goals
  • Be familiar with Mars systems used in the business
