Job summary

Leggett & Platt is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate, maintain, and clean production equipment such as coilers and assemblers to meet quality specifications. You will identify non-conformances and halt processing when needed. A forklift license issued by the company is required.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old and able to pass the forklift test. Prior factory experience is a plus, and the role is based in our Indiana facility as part of The Components People division.

So, what will you be doing as a Machine Operator?

Setup, operate, maintain, and clean production equipment including coilers and assemblers to produce comfort core coils to quantity and quality specifications. Will identify and stop further processing of non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality system. Must have fork lift license issued by Company.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Must be 18 years of age.

Must be able to pass company given forklift test.
