Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Machine Operator – Davi Plate Roller to join our Thomasville, GA team. You will program, set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot the Davi Plate Roller per ASME code for pressure vessels and related components, and read blueprints for vessel test and final assembly.

The role requires safety adherence, crane and lifting equipment operation, basic welding, and lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of machine operation experience, including overhead crane operation.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
• Strong safety focus and knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing.
• Basic welding skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust the machine.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance.
• Ability to safely load and unload materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot a Davi Plate Roller per ASME code.
• Read blueprints and lay out components for vessel tests and final assembly.
• Follow safety rules and maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Load/unload material safely; operate crane and lifts.
• Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader or Supervisor.

Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Machine Operator – Davi Plate Roller to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Machine Operator will program, set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot a Davi Plate Roller. in accordance to ASME code, for pressure vessels and related components in preparation for vessel test and fit and final assembly; accurately read blueprints; do layout from the blueprints.

Job Location

Thomasville, GA.

Essential Functions

• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety rules.
• Must have the ability to operate the overhead crane, scissor lifts and ladders.
• Must have some basic welding skills.
• Must know, understand, and abide by 5S housekeeping procedures and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Must demonstrate full competence in meeting safety, quality and production standards.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machine.
• Must have the ability to perform basic machine maintenance on the machine
• Must have the ability to safely load and unload material in and out of the machine

Other Duties

• Perform any other job duties as directed by the Team Leader or Supervisor.

Education

Basic Requirements:

• High school degree or GED equivalent preferred; technical training at an accredited school preferred.
• Must have good reading, writing and math skills.

Experience

• One to two years of Machine Operation experience and experience operating overhead cranes.
