TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Machine Operator to join the Hanover, PA production team. The role reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and supports the Lead Machine Operator in day-to-day operations, including running packing room machines, changeovers, weight checks, and quality inspections.

The position is full-time on the D shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), with competitive pay of $26.75 per hour including shift differential, and opportunities to grow within a large private-label foods company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow process documents.
• Willingness to work a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM rotating shift.

Responsabilités

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.

• Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film, co-dates, stickers, hot stamps, etc. ready for next order.

• Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats, leakers, holes, registration, and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.

• Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.

• Other duties as assigned

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on D shift, which operates from 7:00p to 7:00p rotating shift:

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm to 7am.

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 7am.

The hourly rate is $26.75/hr including shift differential pay

About You:

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
