Georgia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for our Corrugated facility in Asheboro, NC. The position offers a pay range of $22–$26 per hour with an additional $2 per hour on 2nd shift and $1 per hour on 3rd shift.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with orientation on 1st shift. The role requires operating the production line, performing basic maintenance, following safety protocols, and collaborating with the team to meet production goals in a large manufacturing environment at

Qualifications

• Experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the production line with minimal supervision while maintaining safety, quality, productivity and waste standards.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments and troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Look for improvements to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems.
• Work closely with teammates to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform routine asset care and cleaning of work area.
• Prepare orders by ensuring materials are ready for use in production.
• Assist in setup, operation, and monitoring of machinery per procedures and guidelines.
• Provide training, direction and support to team members.
