Packaging Services Industries in Williamsport, MD is hiring a Machine Operator for its corrugated production team. You will operate corrugator/converting machines, set up for each run, and perform routine quality checks to ensure precise prints and structural integrity.

The role is full-time with 1st and 2nd shift options (no rotating shifts). Starting pay ranges from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour, with overtime potential based on business needs and performance.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.

THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE

As a Machine Operator in our corrugated production team in Williamsport MD, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process. Your expertise will ensure our machines run smoothly, producing precision-cut, perfectly printed, and structurally sound packaging that meets the highest standards. The work you do will directly impact our customers’ ability to deliver their products safely and beautifully—on time, every time.

These are Full Time positions that do not require the ability to work rotating shifts.

Core schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 2:30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday 5:00am to 9:00am; 2nd shift is Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm-1:30 am. Require the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Operate and monitor corrugated converting or corrugator machines (e.g., flexo folder gluers, rotary die cutters, etc) to meet daily production targets.
• Set up machines for each production run, including adjustments for size, print, and cutting specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine quality checks—measuring dimensions, inspecting print quality, and ensuring structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Previous experience operating machinery in the corrugated packaging industry (corrugator or converting equipment preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read production orders and machine settings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A safety-first mindset and a team-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team oriented approach.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Above average organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to enter product specifications into the computers.
• Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds, standing for the majority of the shift.
• Basic math skills required (fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
