POSITION SUMMARY

PSIContainer, locatedin McAdoo, PA, is a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxesand we areseeking Machine Operators to join ourteam.Machine Operators set up and operate the machines safely to produce our specialty products.These are Full Time, 1st shift positions that do not require the ability to workrotating shifts. Core schedule forthis positionis Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday 6:00am to 10:00am and includes the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the safe operation of all machinery and adhere to all safety rules and initiatives.
• Oversee machine operations to ensure minimal downtime and excellent finished product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues that happen.
• Maintain proper documentation and machine entries for each job.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safety first mentality.
• Mechanical skills.
• Basic knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team oriented approach.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Above average organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to enter product specifications into the computers.
• Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds, standing for the majority of the shift.
• Strong troubleshooting experience.
• Basic math skills required (fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).

To be successful in this position, you must be willing to make a commitment of time and effort to become part of a team producing quality corrugated boxes in a safe, drug free environment. Experience in operating fork lifts in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
