Job summary

Packaging Services Industries, Inc. in Williamsport, MD is seeking Machine Operators for 1st shift (Mon-Thu 5:00am–2:30pm, Fri 5:00am–9:00am) and 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30pm–1:30am) to safely set up and operate our corrugated box production equipment.

Candidates need basic mechanical skills, ability to read a tape measure, effective verbal and written communication, and a team-oriented mindset; physical work up to 50 lbs with occasional overtime; starting pay $21.00–$22/hr plus benefits.

Position: Machine Operator (1stShift and 2nd Shift)

POSITION SUMMARY

The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking Machine Operators to join our 1st shift teams.Machine Operators set up and operate the machines safely to produce our specialty products. These are Full Time positions that do not require the ability to workrotating shifts. Core schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 2:30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday 5:00am to 9:00am; 2nd shift is Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm-1:30 am. Require the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the safe operation of all machinery and adhere to all safety rules and initiatives.
• Oversee machine operations to ensure minimal downtime and excellent finished product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues that happen.
• Maintain proper documentation and machine entries for each job.
