Job summary

American Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift cold header / cold forming machine operator for a busy metal fabrication job shop in Wisconsin. You will operate stamping production machines, read work orders, and set up and tend equipment to meet specifications.

Strong math and measurement skills are required, with experience on cold header and/or cold forming machines. Forklift experience and a HS diploma or GED are needed.

• Good math and measuring; will learn set ups of punch presses.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Company is seeking a 1st shift cold header / cold forming machine operator in metal fabrication/job shop. Operate stamping production machines-both single throw and progressive work.

Production wire form machine operator.

Cold form, cold header and wire forming are all similar. Also material handling duties. All around metal fabrication person for very busy company in Waukesha Co, WI area.

$18-$20/hour 1st shift Cold Header Operator will set up, operate, or tend machines to slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal -sheet fed and coil fed material. Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong operator skills needed on 1st shift. Cold header and / or cold forming machine expericne. Good math and measuring-will learn set ups of punch presses. Forklifts Must have High School diploma or GED, able to lift.
