Machine Operator - CNC3 (2nd shift)

Reporting To

Production Supervisor

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Read work instructions to determine job specifications, machine adjustments, and material requirements. Make general decisions regarding quality, tolerances, and operation sequence.
2. Produce quality products following quality plans and work instructions.
3. Document work completed using the manufacturing system.
4. Analyze and make adjustments to CNC equipment and controls to meet specifications.
5. Recognize and respond to hazardous materials conditions, alerting appropriate personnel.
6. Use measuring tools such as dial calipers, snap gauges, or micrometers.
7. Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot malfunctions, and take corrective actions.
8. Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces.
9. Work overtime as scheduled.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of three years CNC machine experience, including multi-functional equipment.
• Proficiency in shop mathematics, reading drawings, and using measuring tools. Ability to train coworkers and follow quality plans and instructions.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and read CNC control panels.
